I am unable to log in to My Page.

To log in to My Entry, you will need your e-mail address and password.
An initial password is one the email you received when your entry completed.
*You can not log in with your e-mail address & password for the past events.

*If you have forgotten your password, you can use the password reset function. To reset your password, click here.
If you do not receive an email when your entry is completed of due to email receiving settings, security software, etc., please try resetting your password by following the steps below.
If you see "No email address registered." is displayed, your entry has not been completed.

How to reset:
1. Select "Forgot Password"
2. Enter the e-mail address you registered at the entry.
　We will send you an e-mail with the URL of the website where you can reset your password.
3. After you click on the URL, your password will be initialized and a new password will be automatically created.
4. An e-mail with the new password will be sent to your registered e-mail address.
5. Please log in again from My Entry.

*If you cannot receive e-mail due to a change your e-mail address after completing your entry, please fill out the application form to request changes. Click here for the application form.

*Except for those whose rights have been transferred, My Entry for Tokyo Marathon 2026 will be created after your entry is completed.

I can't log in to ONE TOKYO.

We have received an increasing number of inquiries since the start of the entry.
We will respond in order, but it may not be possible to respond in time for the entry period, so please be sure to confirm that you can log in in advance.

I haven't received any notification emails from the Tokyo Marathon.

Applying for entry (general)

Can multiple applicants use the same email address?

Please use only one email address for your application. Multiple applications from the same person will be considered invalid.

Can you accept group entries?

No.

What is the minimum age requirement to participate?

19 years of age or older.

I am a Japanese citizen living abroad. Can I either choose to enter through Japanese or English entry page?

Regardless of the nationality, if you live outside of Japan please enter through the English entry site.
You may be requested to present your ID to prove that you live overseas at Packet Pick-up.

I live in Japan and am wondering if I can apply through the English entry website?

Foreign residents who do not speak Japanese may apply, but if you are able to read Japanese, please apply through the Japanese website. Please note that applicants using the English website will be considered overseas entries and are required to pay the overseas entry fee (230 USD).

I am a US federal employee (Navy, Army, etc.) stationed in Japan. Which home address should I register?

Please register the residing address in Japan.

Is the 10.7km race available for the general participants?

No. Please refer to the Race Information.

Are there any marathon race categories for participants with disabilities?

Beginning with the Tokyo Marathon 2027, we have introduced a division for people with disabilities.

If I wish to participate in the wheelchair division, how should registered members of disability sports organizations apply?

Required entry information differs for the event in which you wish to enter.
For the elite wheelchair marathon, athletes must register as part of a sports organization. Please refer to the Entry Information  for more details.
*Entry Information for the elite wheelchair marathon will be announced on August 1, 2026 and the entry will be from early-December, 2026.

For wheelchair marathon(general), participants don’t need to register with any sports organization. Please follow the same schedule as general runners for entry.

I have several names, which should I enter?

Please enter the name on your passport.

Can I change my personal information after entry?

No, personal information such as name and date of birth cannot be changed. Please ensure that you enter the event while abiding by all regulations. As for registered information that can be updated, please refer to the 'My Entry".

Can I change division after entry?

Changes to your division will not be permitted after entry.

What happens if the number of entries exceeds the capacity?

Participants will be chosen by drawing if the number of entries have exceeded the field size.

If you conduct a drawing, when will we be informed of the results?

We will send a notification email to all entrants to inform that the result is available on the "My Entry". Please check your My Entry once you receive the notification email.

When and how should I pay the event fee?

The event fee payment will be available through the 'My Entry'. Please note that payment can only be made using a credit card and/or specified online financial services. It is important to complete the payment to finalize your entry. If we do not receive confirmation of your payment by the deadline, your entry will be void.

Will last year's lottery results have any impact on this year's lottery results?

No.

I participated as a volunteer last year. Will my application be given priority?

No.

Can I carry over my entry until next year?

In the case of disqualification due to a violation of the rules or cancellation of participation for personal reasons, under no circumstances will the entry fee (including donations) be refunded, nor will any rights be transferred to future events or preferential treatment be provided.

However, if a runner wishes to withdraw from the race due to pregnancy or childbirth after the entry fee has been paid, the entry rights may be transferred only if the runner agrees to the terms and conditions for such a transfer.

In this case, please contact the Entry Center by Wednesday, March 3, 2027.

If I am unable to participate on the day of the marathon, am I allowed to have someone run in my place?

Substitute runners are not permitted. Any participant running under a false name will be disqualified.

Do I need to apply for a bag-check service, even if I am transferd from the past event?

You need to apply for it. During the period, please select "Use Baggage Check Service" through the 'Entry Information Confirmation/Update' in My Entry, and then pay for it after paying for the event fee.

If you do not apply during this period, there will be 'no baggage check-in' option, and changes cannot be made, so please keep this in mind.

Can I apply for baggage check service?

If you want to apply for baggage check service, please select it at the time of  entry.
Once the entry is completed, it cannot be changed

Those who transferred their entry need to select baggage check-in in "My Entry" before paying the event fee, during the period from Friday, July 31 to Thursday, August 13, 2026.
If you do not complete the selection within this period, baggage check-in will not be available and cannot be changed.
Please note that no changes can be made after the event fee payment either.

I want to know about non-binary.

Ｑ．What is "non-binary"?
Ａ．"Non-binary" is the idea that one's gender identity does not fit into, or does not want to fit into, a "male" or "female".

Ｑ．Can I choose a gender other than male/female?
Ａ．Yes. Starting with Tokyo Marathon 2025, we have added a "non-binary" in addition to "male" and "female" .

Ｑ．Can I choose "non-binary" for all divisions?
Ａ．No. You can choose "Non-binary" in the general division only.

Ｑ．Why isn't there a "non-binary" category for Elite, Wheelchair Elite and Semi-Elite?
Ａ．Currently, the competition rules set by World Athletics (WA), the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF), and World Para Athletics (WPA) do not include a "non-binary" category. Therefore, we only have "men" and "women" categories for Elite, Wheelchair Elite, and Semi-Elite competitions. We recognize the importance of inclusivity and will continue to monitor changes in international guidelines and policies.

Ｑ．Does the choice of gender affect the drawing?
Ａ．No

Ｑ．How do you put participants name on the participants list in the official program?
Ａ．We put participants name by categories ("male," "female," and "non-binary").
*If you are registered with the JAAF and choose "non-binary" for entry, the gender registered with JAAF will be used in the Official Program.

Ｑ．How are records and finishing places ranked?
Ａ．Records and finishing places are ranked by "male," "female," and "non-binary" respectively in addition to overall rankings for all participants.

Ｑ．Do you have award for "non-binary"?
Ａ．No. The Tokyo Marathon is conducted according to the competition rules of World Athletics (WA), the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF), and World Para Athletics (WPA). Awards for top finishers will be given in the 'male' and 'female' divisions.

Ｑ．Is there a prize?
Ａ．No. A prize for the top finishers are only given to "men" and "women". Because the Tokyo Marathon is followed by the competition rules of the World Athletics (WA), Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF), and World Para-Athletics (WPA).

Ｑ．Is there a distinction between "men's", "women's", and "non-binary" by athlete bibs?
Ａ．Only the Elite and Wheelchair Elite bibs distinguish between "Men" and "Women".

Ｑ．Will there be changing rooms for non-binary?
Ａ．We will have "changing rooms for everyone" that can be used regardless of gender.

Can I apply for entry by phone?

No, entry via phone, application form, or feature phone is not possible. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly request that you make your entry using a computer or smartphone.

I would like to enter with my guide runner. How do I apply?

You can request to register a guide runner upon entry. Those who have requested a guide runner will receive further information after their entry is confirmed. Please note that guide or support animals are not allowed.

This is my first marathon, so I do not have a past record time or know my predicted finish time.

Please fill in your predicted time based on your running ability.

I have not received any emails confirming my entry to the 2027 event, what should I do?

After initially registering your email address on our entry page, you would have received an email explaining how to complete your entry for the Tokyo Marathon 2027. If you did not receive this email, it means that your entry is incomplete.
Please check the following to identify the problem:

・Did you press the 'send' button after registering your email address?
・Is the registered email address correct?
・Have you checked the trash or spam folder?
・Have you checked the incoming email settings?
・Have you checked the security settings?
・Have you checked the spam settings?

Please note that the network environment can also be a factor in the issue. If the problem persists, please try registering again using a different email address. We also recommend adjusting your system settings to receive emails from the following domains: '@onetokyo.org' and '@tokyo42195.org'.

Is there any way to confirm that I have completed my entry correctly?

You can check through "My Entry" page that will be automatically generated upon the completion of the entry.

I did not receive the email with the lottery results.

We will send an email with instructions on how to check the lottery results to all participants who entered. Please check your spam folder to ensure that the email has not been filtered. Also, please verify your email settings and security settings. You can view the lottery results by accessing 'My Entry,' where they will be automatically generated upon completion of the entry registration.

If I haven't received the Athlete Bib Exchange Voucher document, what should I do?

There will be no e-mailing of the Athlete Bib Exchange Voucher.
Please download it from the 'My Entry' page.

Do I need to make payment upon entry application?

No, you will not be required to make payment upon entry application. You will receive a notification to make the payment within the specified period, following the official entry selection.

Can I enter to multiple categories?

No, multiple entries for the event are not allowed. If it is discovered that you have registered for multiple entry categories, your entry will be revoked, and the entry fee will not be refunded if discovered after payment. Additionally, please note that you cannot transfer your entry to a third party.

I want to know about Duo Team.

Duo Team is a team of two runners. One pushes a buggy that is safely customized for the runner who is unable to walk due to a permanent physical disability.

Is there a restriction on carrying in liquid on the race day?

Please check the Runner Guidebook, which will be provided in mid-February 2027, for information regarding the bringing of liquids for the 2027 event.

When is the Runners exclusive goods sales scheduled?

Sales are scheduled to begin in early December 2026.
We will inform you as soon as schedule is decided.

Where do I pick-up my checked-in baggage?

The designated pick-up location differ in color of the Athlete Bibs.
Please check the location in the Runner Guidebook which is scheduled to be provided in mid-February 2027.

Baggage check service is only available to those who apply for it at the time of entry.

Where will the Packet Pick-up be held?

Packet Pick-up (Athlete Bibs pick-up)  will take place at Tokyo Big Sight South Exhibition Hall.
Athlete Bibs pick-up and venue for wheelchair will be different, so we will inform you separately.

What is a valid ID for personal verification?

Passport

Will you use the health-management App this year?

There are no plans to implement health management using the health-management app for the Tokyo Marathon 2027.

Will there be a Packet Pick-up on other days of the EXPO?

Please ensure that the runner themselves completes the registration within the specified registration period.

Will there be a changing room?

Changing tents will be provided in the Start Area (within the restricted area after passing through each entry gate).
Runners who have applied baggage check service will also have access to changing tents or changing areas in the Finish Area.
Please refer to the Runner Guide, scheduled in mid-February 2027, for further details.
*Please do not change clothes in public places, including restrooms at train stations or commercial facilities, and within station premises.

Can I start with someone who starting from a different corral/wave?

No.
Please make sure to start from a designated corral/wave.
You may be disqualified if you start from a different corral/wave.

Why is the entry fee different for Japanese and oversea?

The entry fee for oversea entries is higher due to costs incurred for translation and more.

What is the name of the closest train station near the starting area?

Shinjuku Station and Nishi-Shinjuku Station.

Which hotel is best to stay in Tokyo/Japan?

Will there be a Family Meeting Spot at the finish?

A designated Meet Area will be available in the Marathon Finish Area, where runners can meet with their family members and friends after the race.
Please note that access to the area near the finish line is restricted. If you plan to meet someone after finishing, please use the Meet Area.
Details of the Meet Area will be provided in the Runner Guide, which is scheduled to be available in mid-February.

I am running as Semi-Elite, can I bring in a personal drink?

No. Personal drink is specifically allowed only for the Elite division.

Where can I purchase official event goods?

Yes, it will be available at the EXPO and through an online store. However, the online store is only available in Japanese, and the shipping is limited to within Japan.

When can I see the race results?

A URL for the results will be announced on the official event website (this site).
The preliminary results will be on the race day and the official results will be in a few days after the event.

If you are unable to search your result even though you have completed the race, you may have been disqualified due to insufficient recording.
Please check the details in the Runner Guidebook which is scheduled to be provided in mid-February 2027.
